Classical Wrought Iron&Timber Doors

WROUGHT IRON & TIMBER ENTRY DOORS

This is a sample of our custom made and stock entry doors. Traditionally, the entry door is the thickest most elaborate door in the house. The entry door is the flagship for the architectural style of the house. Our doors are thicker, stronger, and more faithful to original designs than most of our competitors.

We prefer to use traditional, cheap products classical hard grained timbers such as Red Cedar or dense Maple (which is suitable to stain or paint).

The doors are manufactured by one of Australia's oldest and largest joinery companies who have been making doors for over 75 years.

We care about design and much effort is mac cosmetics concentrated on ensuring that the various doors are well proportioned, with detail to the original style and era. Our uncommonly good joinery is of the utmost importance and our prices compare favourably with our competitors making top quality doors.

WOODS

We prefer proven timbers such as classic hard grained Red Cedar. We also dense Pacific Maple, which is suitable to stain or paint. The timber is bought from suppliers who source from managed sustainable yield forests.
Doors are supplied unfinished. We recommend and use Sikkens Finishing Products which we believe provide the best nourishment for the timber, good replica rolex durability and minimum hindrance to smooth operation of joinery.

SIZES

Standard door size is 2040x820x40mm
Larger sizes are also available, French door sizes are from 2040x620, 720 and 820mm. Multi-Fold Systems are from 2 door to 6 door combinations in widths from 1322mm to 4956mm.

GLASS

Clear or Translucent glass is used. Stock Leadlights are triple glazed and come in a variety of patterns.

HANDLES

A unique range of door handles is available in black powder coated wrought iron, satin chrome or non tarnishing 24 carat gold on brass.

IRON

THe wrought iron has a rust resistant powder coated finish and comes in black or a deep silver/black colour.

SIDELIGHT AND TRANSOMS

Matching sidelights and transoms are available with some doors or can be custom made.

MULTIFOLDS

All multifolds are made in Cedar and come built into a frame ready to install. Frame height is 2170mm (depending on hardware) Please verify extremities of frame before framing up.

Included are replica watches flush bolts (half keyed) and clear glass and all multifolds are compliant with Australian Standards 2047. There is a choice of 7 door styles.
